Piedmont Talent was founded in 1989 and has grown steadily ever since. The agency was founded out of a love of blues and roots music and has never strayed from that focus. Director, Steve Hecht, is a two time recipient of a Keeping The Blues Alive award for Agent/Manager of the Year; an award given out annually by The Blues Foundation. He also is on the Advisory Board of The Blues Foundation, having served two terms on the Board Of Directors. With 25 years experience as a booking agent, Steve knows how to work with all varieties of promoters needs, whether they be major seasoned promotion companies or down home Blues Society events.

At Piedmont Talent we strive to make the booking experience simple and stress free by treating the buyers openly and honestly so all parties involved in the performance have a positive experience. We are among the oldest and most experienced blues based agency in the business. The dedicated staff of Michelle Kaplan, Tina Terry, Bryan Osborne and Robyn Fryer maintain a level of honesty and integrity that has helped Piedmont Talent gain the trust and respect of artists and buyers world-wide and has set the standards for service and detail for other agencies to follow.
